mini Monster Websites was created to help individuals and tiny companies with the daunting task of creating their own website. The company had invested in designing complete walk-through tutorials that made it possible for someone with no experience and little funding to follow step-by-step directions and create their own high quality website. What mini Monster needed was a visual way of presenting this information that was accessible, friendly, and not-at-all intimidating.
I decided that the user needed a guide to walk them through the entire process, and created the company mascot. With his goofy grin and slouchy socks, the mini Monster is introduced in a series of simple and playful illustrations. Bright colors and organic shapes bring that same sense of joy and fun into the design of the website itself.
